Reader comment on item: Resisting Islamic Law
in response to reader comment: Support Denmark

My sympathies for Denmark and the rest of Europe remain limited at best. They have brought the "Muslim problem" upon themselves through their own smug, intellectually vapid determination to greet these invaders with open arms in the name of 'diversity' and 'multi-culturalism.' When the United States had the courage to use direct military force against Islamic terrorists and their host countries we were almost universally condemned and reviled by Europe as jingoistic invaders and bullies. France led the pack of Islam's sycophants and is now paying the price for their folly, as are the ultra-liberal Scandanavians.

And, although as an American I believe the occupation of Iraq has gone on far too long, let's get over the idea that Saddam Hussein's regime was not linked to Islamic terrorism simply because we couldn't follow the money trail directly to al Queda, something that would be almost impossible to do when the money source is an oil (and cash) rich despot.

Saddam maintained a terrorist training center at Salman Pak just fifteen miles southwest of Baghdad where terrorists from various Gulf states, including Saudi Arabia, were taught terror tactics that included the hijacking of commercial airliners. He very openly paid bounties to the families of suicide bombers in the Middle East and the last time I checked suicide bombing was still considered a form of terrorism. He gave safe haven to some of the most infamous terrorists in the world, including the late Abu Nidal and Abu Abbas.

When Abbas was captured by the Italians after having orchestrated and taken part in the Achille Lauro cruise ship hijacking the Italians let him go. Why? Because he was carrying an authentic Iraqi diplomatic passport issued to him by Saddam Hussein and he claimed diplomatic immunity. The United States CIA has documented no less than fifty meetings between al Queda operatives and members of Saddam's regime between 1990 and March 2003 when the invasion of Iraq began, with some of these meetings including either Saddam or Osama bin Laden personally.

I could site many more links between the Butcher of Baghdad and Islamo-fascists but I think this is enough for now. As for Europe and its Muslim problem? Hey, you guys rolled out the Welcome Wagon, now I hope you like your new neighbors.
