Hi Ianus

You are very correct that you can find abandoned dogs, not just in let us say Cairo but also in NYC, and I'm sure there must be cruelety inflicted on such dogs everywhere and not just in the Arab world.

This does not change the fact that the Arabs in general have great love for dogs despite of Islam. I suppose it is the human genes in all of us. I even understand that the sister of Hasan al-Banna the grand father Tariq Ramadan used to have a French poodle (I stand corrected here).

The point that I'm making is that the dog issue and even the "no interest on money in Islam" issue are generated by those wannabe Arabs in Pakistan
