This reader would not let any unfamiliarity with one another's writings be a specific cause for debtate, but something needs mentioning in regards to whether or not Yeshua HaMashiach made any reference to monogamy as regards to the marital status, to believers or unbelievers. The short answer is that in a debate with the religious rulers of the time, monogamus relationships were the basis for any marriage relationship. In Matthew 19:6 (part of a discourse going from 19:3 to 19:9) we read of Yeshua speaking, "Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." This is based on His quoting Genesis 2:24. Yeshua HaMashiach made it perfectly clear that a man marries one woman for this temporal life, and anything thing outside of the marriage is sin, period.

That there are shown in the Hebrew Holy Scriptures variations of relationships between men and women outside of the one man, one woman marriage relationship is a testimony of the failure of those people to follow true Biblical principles in true discipleship. That the other religious perspectives that are given as examples for permitting multiples partnerships and allows for such, shows their inconsistency with the true Biblical principle. In any event, Yeshua HaMashiach does address this and other matters of faithful relationship to Him, and in any complete study of His Word, everything has been mentioned, usually more than once.

Bottom line: Yeshua Hamashiach reveals all truth, and believing in Him is the basis for accepting all truth.
