Gordon Brown to accept introduction of Sharia Law to accomodate Muslim lenders from abroad.

Reader comment on item: Resisting Islamic Law

Submitted by Stephen Carr (United States), Feb 20, 2008 at 23:28

A report in a London newspaper this week said that Gordon Brown the British Prime Minister, on the advice of his Chancellor, is planning to configure Sharia Law as he is about to raise money for the Government by borrowing from Muslim countries. Instead of paying interest, whixh is contrary to Sharia Law, the British Government will agree to comply with this law by paying what they describe as Rent.

This prompted leading figures of the Opposition to protest the introduction of Sharia Law into Britain by the back door and raised fears that British Infrastructure will fall into the hands of the lenders.
