Reader comment on item: Resisting Islamic Law
in response to reader comment: It is a matter of following Allah's commandment

In the ever present reality of the world being divided by religious lines, and the premise of the need of the Western societies to resist this latest resurgence of Islamic ideologies in order to preserve perceived Christian influences, it needs to be done not because Islam has presented a better case for submitting to its cause that needs to be resisted for the sake of Western culture, nor shall Islam present enough tolerance or moderation to non-Islamic peoples (dhimmis) that needs to be resisted for the lack of status and freedom of non-Muslims. There is ample proof of a better commandment to follow the Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, all as found in the Word of the LORD.

The proof of which ideology, which religious perspective, which perception of how things really are going in this world can be found in the best evidence the world can ever see, in the activities surrounding Israel. Do we see Israel beleaguered roundabout by her enemies and by her supposed friends? Do we hear of wars and rumors of wars, the clamouring and insidiously malevolent invectives directed against the Hebrew population because they continue to remain in their promised land? Do we see an Israeli government floundering in a sea of indecision and bad decision making for the lack of inspired direction in giving away promised lands? All of these things are found in the Hebrew Holy Scriptures.

One may follow a different thinking about what is happening in the Middle East, pay attention to quavering voices that say Israel's time is limited, and somehow, someway, the purported strength of the foes of Israel will bring her down. But understand, as many times as a foreign flag flew over Jerusalem, whether Roman, Christian, Islamic or otherwise, it has always come down to the return of the Jewish people into their promised land. Jerusalem is Zion, and will forever be so, no matter what the immediate circumstance might be.

Now many have made some form of humanized prediction based on some perception of Quranic dictates that Israel is to be rejected and ejected from their land, and maybe even in the near future of trying to partition Israel for peace their hold on the land may seem untenable: make no mistake, the Hebrew Holy Scriptures is the controlling document for the future of the Holy Land and the nations that are her enemies now will be required to give obeisance and swear fealty to her returning King.

It is written that the Jewish people seek a sign or signs from their Creator. What is written in the Hebrew Holy Scriptures is that the Jewish Nation IS the sign, the focus of the revelation of their Almighty Sovereign to them and the world, that all may come to recognize their need to acknowledge Him in all things through the Word of the LORD.

Now according to the Hebrew Holy Scriptures, all must come to a relationship with the Eternal Sovereign through Jesus Christ by the Word of the LORD for salvation, and in doing so, be obedient to His commandment: to love the Almighty God of the Hebrew Scriptures and to love one another. With the proof of the Scriptures seen in the latest fulfillment of the promises to Israel and the anticipation of further fulfillment coming true very shortly, it would seem the better commandment is to follow the Word of the LORD and come to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. It is in Him we find a better relationship to the Truth and a far more compelling reason to follow His commandments.
