The Europeans are well advised to continue to wipe their filth with whatever means they like, and in thats after II world War, but dont imagine cleanliness was born after the war and after tissue paper.

You can argue the Turks took over Roman Baths from the Romans but even then, over the 1000 years of enjoying the hot water and relaxing bath by the Ottomans, the Europeans were pouring their filth over their windows on to their fellow pedesterians in the streets of Paris. And you were making love to the woman who last washed a year or more ago while the Turks had to wash every day, and thats because of their religion, if you know what I mean.
