Looking at what is closest to my cup of coffee in the morning the situation looks like this: When did Netanyahu come to Germany and tell German Jews to learn hebrew before they learn German? Erdogan did just that. He demanded that Turkish Germans must learn Turkish as a first language before they learn German. He did so speaking to Turks in Germany. Rogue? Agressive? While turkish behaviour may be debatable the initiative is clearly theirs.
