Show of Hands-Who is Really Surprised About Turkey

Reader comment on item: Is Turkey Going Rogue?

Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Sep 27, 2011 at 12:46

It has been said, that it is not what Turkey is doing, but when. The issues now being stoked by Turkey have been brewing for quite some time, that the political resignations signaled more than just an affirmation of the lost cause of the former Turkey republic and the resurgence of the Islamic influences that Turkey has always had under the surface, they brought to light the changes already occurring in the government that were necessary to bring the true cause of the Islamic Revolutions to bear in the one place Iran needed the support in reinforcing the northern frontier. Turkey never really needed NATO to reinforce in its own mind what the true position they needed to make-to align with the Islamic Revolution.

But other factors are at play as well, and the map of the Leviathan Field gives an interesting perspective as to an ulterior motive that although may seem peripheral to the Islamic cause, the same thing could be said about Saudi Arabia and other places in the Middle East before oil was found. The potential lucrative aspects of that will undoubtedly attract outside interests desiring to get in on the deal. But that's an aside, maybe. We'll take that up a little later.

More germane to the issues at hand is the situation Israel faces with the 'Palestinian' request being considered in the U.N., and how Turkey figures to be at the forefront of it all (maybe to establish the re-establishment of Turkey's former greatness under the Ottoman's). Turkey 'coming to the rescue' of the 'beleaguered' Gazans or whoever is simmering just under the radar of the world; but one can bet that Israel's radar is blipping like a Disneyworld light show as it tries to anticipate what's next.

All of this is to point out the Biblical circumstances about ready to break out on the world scene in a way this reader has said over and over again: and no one appears to be ready except those who understand the advancing reality of Ezekiel 38. Is anyone else wondering how this is connected to naval vessels circling around south of Cyprus? Like it says: there should be no surprises.
