Don't agree

Reader comment on item: Is Turkey Going Rogue?

Submitted by Cem (Belgium), Sep 27, 2011 at 22:20

Keep in mind that Turkey attaches great importance to NATO. Turkey won't turn into an islamist rogue-state, but it acts on frustration because of double standards imposed by west on muslim countries and also on Turkey (f.e. EU accession). Turkey just don't agree on agressive policies of Israel and US since Iraq war, Lebanon and Gaza war and calls for diplomacy, restraint and justice. You easily label Turkey as a rogue state, while whole world is fed up with Israel and US aggressive policies. Just look at how many countries support a palestinian state at the UN Assembly.
