They cannot admit the truth even if they wanted to.Article 301 of the Turkish Penal Code and a number of other laws make such an admission a criminal offense ('denigration of Turkishnes') punishable with 3 years in jail or 4 if the admission is made abroad. Kemal engineered his Turkey as a perfect police state.Whatever he couldn't achieve with brainwashing,he forced with his Turkish "laws".
