The destruction of Europe: Hype and Hysteria

Reader comment on item: Will Europe Resist Islamization?
in response to reader comment: The Destruction of Europe is Imminent

Don't be silly. Some of our cousins across the water have a very strange notion of Islam in Europe. Here is the UK, muslims are a minority within a minority. Moreover, the European Islamic population is falling as birth rates among the community drop in line with those of the host population - and that's quite apart from the number of Muslims who leave Islam in the UK - put conservatively at some 20pc pa.(google and check for yourself.)

Muslims in Europe are, for the most part, poor and uneducated (relative to the host population) as they are everywhere: but this is a society which pays very little attention to the poor and uneducated. Those UK Muslims who get an education usually distance themselves from the faith.

The nonsense about the 'islamification' of Europe is pure hysteria, cooked up by an unholy (in every sense) alliance of extreme right fundamentalists in both the Islamic and the Christian communities, and we should give it no credence whatsoever.

If you have any doubts about what I say, let me point out that a tiny, tiny group of radical Muslims (about 30 of them in a population of more than 65,000000) tried to protest the Olympic Games and get them stopped. They protested for about 3 hours, during which time nobody paid them the least bit of attention and then they went home. The Olympic games were held in that part of London which has one of the highest density Muslim populations in the country. And did you see any sign of any kind at any time of the merest hint of the Islamification of the UK? Or, come to that during the Royal Jubilee earlier in the year ? Of course not. All pure hype and hysteria.
