Great wall of Europe

Reader comment on item: Will Europe Resist Islamization?

Submitted by Rajan Samuel (India), Apr 19, 2008 at 05:29

Observation 1:- According to folk lore and Islamic bravado, the English pronunciation for the followers of Islam , "MUSLIM" derives from the word "Musalmaan". Musalmaan again is supposed to be an amalgamation of two words. Mussallam + Imaan, meaning, tried & tested + faith.

Observation 2:- The Chinese built the biggest wall in the world to protect its interests and to safeguard itself from the invaders.

Observation 3:- Europe is the bastion of Christianity.

Conclusions:- If the Islamic faith is so strong, so tried and tested that they dare to take on Europe, why can't Christianity be strong enough to safeguard it's interests? Why can't Christianity build a powerful church and instil strong faith in its followers to make a Great wall of faith, so that no invaders can attack it? Christianity should be so strong that it welcomes other faiths with open arms like brothers and sisters meeting?

I agree that Islamic laws and customs are enforced with an iron fist and Christianity is a lot libral, but that liberty can be used to its advantage. Let Islam come to Europe and observe Christianity's good points. Let us be an example of tolerence and show Islam the way

Why the fear, the paranoia?
