Yes. Lets look at the "government" of Islam as removing all colour from life as it institutes it's slave mentality and darkens the skies over the lands it has consumed with it's retrograde ideology of totalitarianism. Even the most simple of subsistence agri-cultures begin to fail once under the yoke of Islam. Poor, desperate countries become even poorer war torn places of continued hostility towards everyone they encounter. Even other Moslems. As one faction kills to oppress the other.

Perhaps I'm prejudicial and unable to comprehend the glorious life one has to look forward to as a citizen of Pakistan groveling at the alter of fascism and told how fortunate I am to have an empty belly but a head full of Islamic rhetoric and social suppression. Then of course to be fair I must weigh that against the mass migration of middle-class Pakistani as they gather up what little they have and flee to the west where an individual can become, with out exception, the best of his or her abilities.

Your country: Pakistan. An Islamic Republic with a population estimated at 163 million, with a nominal GDP of 500 million or $3,300 per capita. and rank 128th in the world performed by a population that is ranked as 6th largest in the world.
My country: Canada. A Parliamentary Democracy with a population of aprox. 33.2 million, with a nominal GDP of 1.4 trillion or $42.700 per capita. A economy that ranks 14th in the world and performed by a population ranked as 36th largest in the world.

Shouldn't your population which is more than 4 times the size of mine be out performing mine considering your superior Islam and virtuous way of life. Or might you consider that it is the retrograde socialisation of Islam that keeps you at the developed worlds teat for nourishment and at the bottom of the performance ladder. Just a thought for you to consider while you nibble at the edges of your Koran while I sit down to a three cheese corn bread, mixed vegetable and beef steak dinner. And thank God for both my meal and that my country is not ruled by religious fascism.
