Reader comment on item: Will Europe Resist Islamization?
in response to reader comment: Resisting Islamic Law

I found the incident you refer to:

Yes, I believe wherever large groups of Muslims enter into democracy, they "push" until they themselves are "pushed". In other words, when there is a majority of them, they seem to "test" the limits of democracy, to see how far their own Islamic religious ideology can thrive and dominate.

I believe this points to the imperative need of secularism, and enforcement of laws, already on "the books" of democratic countries. Absolutely no "favoritism" with regards to accomidating Islam and it's followers is what is needed to protect freedom.

Some readers, such as "Safraz", who reply to you, seem to think addressing the root cause of the problem (whatever their opinion of this might be - it differs with everyone) will somehow solve the problem. This is, needless to say, ridiculous.

Whatever the "cause" of "radical" Islam, what stops it is "pushing back", that is, not allowing their ideology to affect the freedom of others, which is their (radical Islam's) mission in the first place.

I'm very interested in what you have to say, Thiagan. I believe your intent comes from first-hand exposure to what devastation Islam has wrecked on your homeland; and you sincerely do not wish others to experience what India has. You have my upmost respect.

Kind regards, Jennifer

P.S. - unless you respond directly to a letter of mine, I don't receive your comment. I came across this comment of yours to me by chance. Keep letting others know what your country has gone through. You are an eye-witness - many are not. We need to know.
