Islamic threatReader comment on item: The Vatican Confronts Islam Submitted by Thiagan (India), Feb 6, 2007 at 02:55 06/02/07 The threat is common to all the non muslim religions and their people. The Pope should therefore sit with other religionists and evolve a common plan for confronting Islam. They should jointly enunciate that: Islam should renounce violence in all forms; otherwise these countries will jointly fight Secularism is not one way traffic. Islam should reciprocate. No permission should be granted for building of mosques, where there is a muslim minority, unless similar approval is granted for construction of churches, temples etc. All citizens in muslim countries should have equal rights; till then muslims in other countries will be disadvantaged. Discriminatory laws, like blasphemy laws, should be scrapped; otherwise similar laws will be enacted to persecute minority muslims in other countries. Immigration should be completely stopped from muslim countries; labour movements will be streictly from the other countries. Immigration laws should be overhauled to make identification and deportation imminent. A jail in an African country to house these undesirable aliens may be built. We can reward the country with aid and indutsrial and social development. The group may be called the Union to Fight Global Terrorim.
