Reader comment on item: The Vatican Confronts Islam

Submitted by Charles (United States), Jul 6, 2006 at 23:39

It is about time that the Vatican should lead the way in addressing the wrongs committed by Islamists in the name of Allah. Islam sanctifies criminal behavior, as authorized in the Koran, the literal word of Allah. Therefore Allah must be something other than the God of Creation. What could that other be? The sooner the free world recognizes the violent core of Islamism, the sooner our awareness can be heightened and corrective measures can be undertaken, including classification of Islam as a form of organized crime perpetrating crimes against humanity.
