'Radical' Islam is a misnomer

Reader comment on item: The Vatican Confronts Islam
in response to reader comment: confronting Islam

While it is comforting to see more and more voices rising against so-called 'radical' Islam, the more precise issue has to do with all of Islam. Islam demands full and complete compliance with the Koran, which provides not only the tenents of the religion but also the structure of the governing laws under which all true Muslims and conquered lands must live. The infallible Koran, and subsequent teachings and enlightened writings demand all of the things other posters here have documented. The slaughter, enslavement, and forced conversion of all occupants of all conquered lands is normal procedure as spelled out in the Koran. Infiltration and deception when used as tools to further the boundaries of the Muslim nations is accepted and encouraged. These are just a sample.

If those facts warm your heart, remember that the very worst sin to a Muslim is apostasy, which must be punished by death, so they have a vested interest in following the rules.

While it is nice to hear the Vatican talk about reciprocity, it will be minutes or hours before we hear of the horrors of the Crusades, which represented nothing more than Europe's last stand against Islam. To this day, the Crusades are tainted with guilt, but the events that caused then, namely the storming of Europe by the barbaric Muslims, is hardly ever even mentioned.

The fallacy is to continue to talk about 'radical' Islam, as it is all of Islam that is bad. People in the remainder of the free world would do themselves and the entire world a favor by educating themselves on the truth behind Islam so that the barbarians can be stopped at the gate.
