Indoctrination is not compatible with freedom of religion

Reader comment on item: The Vatican Confronts Islam

Submitted by History Has Shown (United States), Jul 6, 2006 at 07:38

For the Moslem leaders to keep their people under their yoke, those people can know nothing else. If any other idea is open for discussions those same people may begin to doubt their faith and all the controls on their lives. Besides, the young will not be so willing to strap those 'vests' on if they find out about the Loving Jesus and a heaven open to all who believe - but don't need to kill infidels to get there.

The only way is by war, as it is the only language Islam understands. They think we speak lies just as they know they themselves speak, so no spoken word will 'get to them' and 'change their hearts.'

While I am NOT looking forward to this clash of swords, it is inevitable.
