Why is it surprising that people of faith are violent? They have ALL forsaken reason for irrationality. Whatever craziness their mind eventually alights upon, be it Virgin Births or the 5th Imams emerging from the well, is the purist chance or accident of birth or idiosyncratic mental tick. Believers use reason like most people use salt, just to punch up the flavor of the lunacy de jure.

Sorry, if this offends but the truth hurts.
