Pope got it right

Reader comment on item: The Vatican Confronts Islam
in response to reader comment: The Pope Got it Right

Submitted by Michael (United States), Sep 16, 2006 at 15:08

The pope knew what he was doing, and got it right. Islam's response... if you call me a violent person, I'll cut your head off. Behavior by the Muslims justifies the pope's comments, as they're doing exactly what he warned of. Islam was started by a marauder, murderer, pillager, rapist, who brought evil into the world. Anyone who can't recognize that is blind...

They worship a different god, and not the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. When Abraham had Ishmael, he was still Abram, and had not received the covenant. Ishmael was conceived outside the covenant. Before Isaac, God renamed him to Abraham. Therefore, the Arabs trace their lineage to Abram, before the blessing and covenant. Likewise, the Koran is unblessed by God, and is not part of His covenant with any people. It also illistrates what God told Hagar (mother of Ishmael), that Ishmael would be a wild ass among men. His hand would be against every man, and every mand's hand against him. Anyone who is objective can see the truth. The truth opposes the very core of Islam.
