There's a difference between showing respect to other human beings and being tricked by their supposed good intentions. Pope John Paul's personal forgiveness of the Muslim who shot him and almost killed him -- is between the Pope and his faith.

Smart people will not resort to the attacking of anyone not of their own group -- instead they will be able to see who the true enemies are.

Catholics know well the hatred for a group. There are various sects of Christianity that don't view them as Christians at all. They are called Jews by some of those "Christians." Catholics have received unkind treatment at the hands of ALL religions, whether verbally or by slaughter. Non-Catholics may not even realize this, because you don't see Catholics complaining all that much about it.

Radical Muslims are undoubedtly determined to cause a rift between Jews and Catholics. If so, I regret falling into the trap -- for a moment.
