As Americans why are we becoming tolerant

Reader comment on item: Don't Bring That Booze into My Taxi

Submitted by David Moses (United States), Oct 22, 2006 at 17:06

Why are we bowing down to people who are not from the United States Of America. We let people come into the United States and boss us around. They can come over here and rub their religion in our face and we cannot do anything about it. We let them do what they want. then they say we are discriminating against them.

How often can we go over in another country and set up a church without problems or red tape. If we commit a crime over in certain countries what do you think happens to us. Do we get to sit on death row and live, watch tv, receive phone calls from loved ones. No, we may be put to death in a timely manner. Please don't take me wrong I have friends that are of different religions and nationality. And I mean friends. This is not intended as hate mail. I am a christian who believes everyone has rights.
