Suppose you go to a drug store, hoping to have your prescription filled. But there's a religious fundamentalist at the counter... Suppose you're an unmarried woman who wants birth control pills...Or supose you need anti-AIDS medications...Just consider these possiblities. If the fundies ruled the world, just think of the consequences for a secular society...it could be worse than the Prohibition era of the 1930s. (I suspect there would also be underground facilities to provide the "service" at a cost -- thus introducing all sorts of corruption into society...) When considering what's good for society, typically one asks oneself: "What would happen if everyone acted this way?"
