Taxi alcohol prohibitionReader comment on item: Don't Bring That Booze into My Taxi Submitted by Kathleen (United States), Oct 16, 2006 at 03:16 Transportation systems exist for the purpose of moving people and goods. Such systems do not exist for drivers to engage in or apply their religious beliefs. Who is forcing these guys to drive taxis? This sort of nonsense, encouraged by appeasing public authorities, is wearing thin on an already irritated general public. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
