"Holier than thou"

Reader comment on item: Don't Bring That Booze into My Taxi

Submitted by Tony Collins (United States), Oct 10, 2006 at 18:30

I did a little research in the Quran and Hadiths, then I e-mailed my findings to publicaffairs@mspmac.org. I found that the Quran does not say believers will suffer any punishment in the afterlife for partaking of alcoholic beverages, much less for being in the same cab as an infidel who happens to be carrying a bottle of wine, or whatever.

In fact, the Quran allows believers to come to prayer while they are drunk, as long as they know what the are saying. Those muslims are liars, and are putting on a "holier than thou" show for all of the infidels. I, for one, am not fooled.
