Michael Jackson's legacy

Reader comment on item: Did Michael Jackson Convert to Islam?

Submitted by Saphron Watson (United Kingdom), Jun 2, 2007 at 12:59

This man, the King of pop, brought down by the Western media, attacked since being the only black man to sell more albums than the beatles, has not decided to leave not only America but the Jehovah witnesses too. this move is nothing more than a spring cleaning effect to break away from those who hates him mock him. after all R kelly who was caught in the act of having sex with a three year old according to the media was let off without media atrtention. Michael is more popular and any cow boy evidence will do, whether hearsay whether the allege crime has no foundation or not.

i hope that the western world will see what they have lost and if they continue to treat human beings badly black or white.. they will lose them to islam. Why islam not because it is the truth or about truth but christianity is seen as the government religion and thus it is natural to want to break away from what reminds you of that pain. I am a black christian I serve christ and not the system and I don't confuse the two as they are separate and not the same. That is why many blacks are turning to Islam, purely politics, not as a result of some divine intervention but Government bullying and racism.
