Reader comment on item: Did Michael Jackson Convert to Islam?
in response to reader comment: you'd think he'd had enough wives already.

G.I: I am collecting information to be able to give an answer to all those who pursue me, or attack my beliefs. Thank you for the info about Muhammad, and his obsession for very young children, that came out of the discussion on Michael Jackson. We both know Islam is not a religion of peace or mercy.

I also read another good commentary from Citizen, on this topic, about Allah being a Pagan God. It is at:

http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/moongod.htm You will find this interesting, indeed, and may already know what it says about Allah being a pre-Islamic pagan deity, and that its core claim is refuted. Worth taking a look. I bought several copies of the Koran and have been reading up on the religion and beliefs, and find lots of contradictions, especially about mercy. How is beheading someone showing mercy. Everything I have learned is a real eye-opener, they are deceiving people.

Sura LXVL The Forbidding--o ye Infidels, make no excuses for yourselves this day; ye shall surely be recompensed according to your works. ( And what are our works?) What have we done that is so terrible? (Disagreeing with them?????)

O believers! turn to God with the turning of true penitence; haply your Lord will cancel your evil deeds, and will bring you into the gardens neath which the rivers flow, on the day when God will not shame the prophet, nor those who have shared his faith; their light shall run before them, and on their right hands! they shall say, " Lord perfect out light, and pardon us: for thou has power over all things.

(O Prophet! make war on the infidels and hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. Hell shall be their abode! and wretched the passage to it.

They deal totally with violence, instead of praying for peaceful means. Its always by force, and always assuming that everyone else is wrong, and we are the hypocrites. Shouldn't everyone be allowed to present and prove their case. To me they have not proven theirs.

Then they agree with Noah and his family being saved from the great flood. Noah's wife was a believer, but not Lot's wife, who was turned into a pillar of salt.

Sura LXVL 10- God setteth forth as an example to unbelievers the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot; they were under( two of our righteous servants, )both of whom they deceived: but their husbands availed them nought against God: and it shall be said "Enter ye into the fire with those who enter. ( I found there are many contradictions, )and yet agreements with the holy bible. How very confusing this is to those who do not understand the Koran, or know the bible, I am astounded!

Sorry to keep corresponding, but you seem very knowledgeable, and I want to know the truth! I have to keep pursuing it!!!!!

Debbie
