Reader comment on item: Did Michael Jackson Convert to Islam?
in response to reader comment: Correction: "Give Thanks to Allah" is NOT by Michael Jackson

Submitted by Muhammad From Egypt. (Egypt), Nov 5, 2008 at 11:33

It is true beyond any doubt that such a song is NOT sung by Michael Jackson for several reasons!

First and formost: The singer's accent is not American or purely American, but it's a British-like accent since he does not pronouce the 'r' at the end of words like "Creator, power" and so on and so forth and this is not even similar to some people's articulation in New York since a lot of them do pronounce the 'r' at the end of words not to mention his intonation and inborn articulation, so this means that his articulation is only similar to that of English, but he is not--in any way--a native-English-speaker!

Second: His voice is tantamount to that of Michael, but this doesn't mean he is the very Michael precisely because if Michael embraced Islam, it would be known in each and every corner of the globe and a song is not an evidence for one's embracing a certain religion and even Islam does not allow one to listen to songs with any kind or sort of stringed instruments!
