Linguistic Chauvinism: To Dhimmi

Reader comment on item: Did Michael Jackson Convert to Islam?
in response to reader comment: Our dear Ahsen Sultan I suggest that you stick to Urdu

After many months of absence, I had a look at this blog at the request of a fellow reader. ...The latest display of linguistic chauvinism by Dhimmi is hurled at Mr Ahsen Sultan whose transliteration of Arabic had attracted ire of this individual for reasons best known to him/her. As to standard transliteration of Arabic, please refer to .ISO Rules for Transliteration In "Manual for the Preparation of Records in Development-Information Systems" by Gisele Morin-Labatut & Maureen Sly. Information Sciences Division, International Development Research Centre, 1982. But that is for the linguists and there is no need for strict adherence to ISO convention for ordinary communications for common use.

One does not have to stick to ones native tongue in communication nor does one need to be a master of the language for writing or speaking a language for day to day communication. For example, there are numerous grammatical and syntactical errors in English writings of Dhimmi which need not be corrected as he/she is perhaps too involved in insulting people in the imperfect language that he/she uses with impunity. Possible improvement of his/her English can not possibly improve the substance of the write up nor can it discourage pejorative usage of the language in his/her addresses to others. It will be a counter productive exercise, thus best be avoided.

As to his/her advice to Mr Sultan to stick to Urdu, does Dhimmi know that Urdu is a language whose vocabulary is mainly made of Arabic and Persian words.? As well, how did he/she assume that Mr Sultan is well versed in Urdu, which is native to North India? Urdu is not a native tongue of any people of Pakistan other than the Muhajirs, the immigrants from North India. Such are the ignorance of Dhimmi who hides behind a pseudo name in order to hurl insults to people who are decent enough to use their real names or identity. He/she remains behind a veil of anonymity while attacking people on their ethnicity and linguistic heritage.

I leave up to the readers to judge for themselves the extent and nature of ...such a person!

My mother tongue is Bengali and I am well versed in 3 more languages including English. I shall be frank enough to admit that Arabic, of which I have a basic understanding, is not one of them. But, what then is your native language Dhimmi? Are you a bilingual in Hebrew and Arabic? What is your ethnicity? Perhaps you are a Semitic immigrant from Syria? Your poor English and random usage of colloquial and slangs betray you as a recent immigrant to the United States. My interest in your antecedents is purely pathological in nature, as your background will disclose much about the unreason of your hatred for the ethnic Arabs, the Muslims anywhere, and specifically of Islam itself.

Best wishes to you
