Neither Muslims Nor Islam is Perfect

Reader comment on item: Did Michael Jackson Convert to Islam?
in response to reader comment: The debate of ISLAM

Submitted by Prashant, May 27, 2019 at 23:49

Dear Dr Pipes,Your reader Hossam Zayed (way back in 2014) said that Islam was a perfect religion. I invite Hossam Zayed to come out of his brain wash. Neither Islam nor Muslims are perfect. In fact --like all religions and their adherents-- in many cases both Muslims and Islam leave a lot to be desired. A religion that proposes things like Q 5-33 cannot be perfect. Nor can it be perfect if it recommends that Muslims should be allowed to rule over non-Muslims. There area million things that make Islam very very deficient. Muslims need to come out of this brainwash that Islam is perfect.
