Reader comment on item: Did Michael Jackson Convert to Islam?
in response to reader comment: Our dear Mahfooz and correcting his poor transliteration

Submitted by Mahfooz-ur Rahman (Bangladesh), Sep 26, 2007 at 13:29

Oh, it seems that our dear Dhimmi is most upset by my presentation of some facts. But instead of presenting counter arguments and facts in a measured manner, as expected of an educated and civilized person, he/she hurls abuses not only at me but at an entire nation and thereby attempts to insult 140 million people! Such are the hatred and prejudices that the person concerned harbour in his/her convoluted mind. Such is his/her demented linguistic chauvinism that his/her proud claim to scholarship is Arabic is only exceeded by her ungrammatical English, a hallmark of an ignorant, and reliance on slang expressions that the person applies in his/her attacks and insults upon anyone who happens to a Muslim and on Islam itself!

But dear Dhimmi, while you attempt to create a smoke screen by choice pejoratives in expressions common to the illiterate and the bigoted, you avoided answering the most important questions posed to you? What are your nationality, ethnicity and religion, if any? Why such a great non-Muslim Arabic scholar who hates Islam so fervently is living in the United States, to what aim and what objective? Whilst you hide behind your pseudonym and hurl abuses at people who are honest and decent enough to disclose their faith, nationality and ethnicity, you betray your hidden agenda of maligning all Muslims from behind the protective screen of a country that guarantees freedom of expression and faith to all her citizens.

Thereby, you insult not the people you address in your usual uncivil manner but the very founding principles enshrined in the constitution of the adopted country of your current residence. I, therefore, call upon all decent citizens of the United States to expose and take to task such a fifth columnist amongst their midst, who by his/her poisoned utterances, are attempting to damage relationship between the United States and the Muslims of the World. Such propaganda further encourages the extremist elements of all kinds and callings everywhere who wish to create rift and conflict between nations and peoples, especially among the Muslims of the world and the United States of America.

Propagandists like Dhimmi must therefore be exposed in the interest of peace, understanding and stability among the peoples of the world, especially between the Muslims and the peoples of other faiths for whom true Muslims only offer friendship and brotherhood.

I leave it up to the concerned citizens of the United States to, at the least, protest and take appropriate action against such a hate campaign by the fifth columnists that are propagating agenda of other interests that is contrary and damaging to the interest of the United States. After all, the laws against hate-crimes are very much in force in the USA and such crimes may also be committed by written words on the web that is cunningly used by the hate- campaigners and are read by a wide readership worldwide, thereby presenting a wrong picuture to many people who do not have a first hand knowledge about the free sociey of, and democratic practices in the USA.

With this introductory note, I shall presently answer to some of the half-baked allegations and blatant mis-representation of facts presented and posed by the accomplished hate-campaigner, Dhimmi.

Best wishes

Mahfooz
