Who Cares?

Reader comment on item: Did Michael Jackson Convert to Islam?
in response to reader comment: The Christian world

Submitted by Clay Rains (United States), Mar 24, 2007 at 02:34

Firstly, Christians could not care less whether or not Michael Jackson is a Muslim or a Christian. Under true Christianity, man is given free will and it is of no concern to humans what faith a person has. Christians are prompted by the New Testament to share their faith with non-believers, but are taught that loyalty to God is something of consequence only to God and the individual. For you information, Michael Jackson was raised a Jehovah's Witness to be exact. Most Christians would not feel they've lost anyone by Jackson converting to Islam, because he wasn't an orthodox Christian to begin with. To make my point to Muslims... If you are a Muslim, do you consider it a loss if a Baha'ai converts to Christianity?
