You there, the condition of women in not much better in your own hindu society. There are still numerous rapes, child marriages, forced marriages, honor killings. You even abort the girl child in the womb after doing illegal sex-determination tests. Some Indian states in the North with predominantly Hindu/Sikh popolations have a very skewed male/female sex ratio. Hindu wives are burnt to death for dowry. At least muslims never do this. Not to mention the Sati temple built for Roop Kanvar in Rajasthan where she was burnt alive on her dead husband's pyre. Have you forgotten Manu , your ancient law giver?
