CHANGES TO THE HADITHS

Reader comment on item: Is Turkey's Government Starting a Muslim Reformation?

Submitted by JACQUES HADIDA (United States), May 29, 2008 at 22:00

For the people of Islam to decide after so many years to bring changes to the hadiths to make them more acceptable to the masses, will that mean that they now recognize the exagerations or to a certain extent the wrongs they contained...

We all know that so many of them sound out of touch with our world , is that the reason for this sudden reversal?

Mind you Christianity did take several centuries to come to accept some of its stubborn objections (the case of Gallileo is one of them)

So let us welcome Islam to our 21st century

Jacques Hadida
