Your reference to Edomites

The little fact that Turkey is a nation/kingdom AFTER the writing of Obadiah and Malachi (two Old Testament books, written around 350 BC) would appear to belie your assertion of Turks being descended from Edomites--as both of the books state that God had divinely proscribed the Edomites from ever again establishing a nation/kingdom of their own.

By language (including names--one col, the Turks do show descent from the Huns (as do Hungarians--eh, the very name "Hungary" derives from "Hun"--and Finns).

No apparent contradiction exists however in presenting the "Palestinians" as descendants of Esau:

  • never able to form a nation
  • extreme hatred against Jews the basis of their self-designation, and actions (as original Edomites betrayed Jewish refugees to Nebuchadnezzar--and even killed others, "Palestinian" leader Haj-amin Husseini both incited riots against Jews and later collaborated actively with Hitler)
