It is very clear to me that you really do not understand the historical concept of the "transmission" of historical documents and shame on your poor education for again pontificating about a subject that you do not know.

1. Nestorians were the intellectual 'royaltiy" in the late antique period when it comes to learning and education, and for sure their language Syriac left a very significant imprint in the Qur'an (the following examples are Syriac words in the Qur'an Tur, Ruum). As matter of fact I understand that there is a hadith wher Muhammad tells his followers to learn al-lugha al-Suryaniya but again his followers the Arabs that is were more interested in looting. Learning? God forbid.

2. Your are ignorant of the landscape of the Middle East. almost all Christians were Jacobites/Monphysites (eg: Copts and Syrians) or they were Melkites (Mlk in Syriac and Malaki in Arabic) and this was the Greek imperial Chruch and then we have the Nestorians who resided and still reside in today's Iraq and Iran so your diatribes against Catholics are just another sign of your poor education, and yes, spare me the drama and there was hardly any "Catholics" in the Middle East in the 9th century when these translations took place.

3. It was _Catholic_ speaking Catalans that translated the _transmitted- Greek learing in Arabic translations back to Latin as Europeans were very interested in reading the orignal works of the Greeks and yes Ibn Sina was a great thinker but he was also a Muslim fascist.

4. And no, your claims that it was the Arabs that advanced the greek learing is just bogus, as most of those that read the Books of The Greeks in Arabic translations were non-Arab Muslims and almost all of them were very cultured Persians and not Arabs. and what were the Arabs doing in the meantime? Looting and raping and enslaving.
