Reader comment on item: Recruiting Soldiers Against Radical Islam

While wholeheartedly agreeing with your analysis, in particular Erdogan vs ObL reasoning, your forecast and course of action seem too half thought out to me, for two reasons:

- advances in development of WMD and potential availability of WMD to evil people, and consequences of WMD first usage in one of the major population centers, from the point of view how to respond and protect. This is not something that has ever happened in the history of mankind. Therefore a resolute preemption would more warranted strategy, compared to a much less certain as far as result is concerned, re-education and inclusion. Alas, our self imposed censorship due to our orthodox humanistic education, Shoah and vicious politically correct judiciary prohibit us to even discuss this option.

- the comparison with nazis, commies are in my opinion inappropriate as those countries and japan as well had a reasonably educated orderly population at a time, while many msm countries now have been growing with their children getting little parenting or education, like children of the street. I would instead compare the next war with Mongolian invaders, driven by similar motives, - underclass overpopulation, zealotry and perhaps the sense of inferiority.
