Reader comment on item: Recruiting Soldiers Against Radical Islam
in response to reader comment: Those who will say Islam as a religion is a problem are simply ignorant and biased!

I have lived in the ME for 18 years, and this is the usual brain washed verbiage we hear from well intentioned people like yourself who refuse to take a good look at their belief system or are afraid to. Hence let me refer you to Dr. Gabriel of www.markagabriel.org a former imam at Al-Azhar University to understand the TRUE ISLAM and the difference between islam and other religions. Let me also refer you to www.islamreview.com to understand RELIGIOUS ISLAM and finally I 'll refer you from a previous reader to www.johnjayinstitute.org to understand POLITICAL ISLAM. Then hopefully you will have a clear understanding of the CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER THE WEST IS HAVING WITH ISLAM.

From its inception islam occupied almost all of Europe for 200 years. What did they do when they were there ? Nothing . They translated books from other languages to arabise the land but after they were qicked out they claimed that they came up with all these inventions and knowledge. The CRUSADERS were a response to islamic invasions and terrorism from way back then. The christians and the WORLD was provocked first for many years and then they had to respond. Islam spread with wars , check ISLAMIC INVENSIONS by Robert Morey of www.faithdefenders.com , and continue to do so. I also refer you to Robert Spencer Book : The politically incorrect guide to islam and the Crusaders. His website is www.jihadwatch.org .

The colonization of the ME and SEA , unlike islam's, actually brought MODERNIZATION. Railroad system, Laws , rules and organized societies by the British. The French brought Art, literature, schools, and Educational systems,etc... Thanks to them the muslum countries joined the 20th century with knowledge and education, although now they seem to be regressing ideologically. So what happened after the European countries left 50 or 60 years ago ? is there a democracy now in any of these countries ? do they at least have civil rights, human rights or women's rghts? They are going BACKWARDS , and to who or do you HASSAN attribute this to ? I'll let you come up with your own conclusions.

I ask you though one question : what is so UNIQUE about islam that you can not find in the Old or the New Testament ? I personally find nothing new except heretic views of the Old and New Testament mixed with the laws, rules and regulations of seventh century arabia. And do you really think that islam will modernize if they adhere to it ? if so were are the moderns, will they stand up or will the TRUE ISLAM please stand up .
