What I am Doing about the Threat

Reader comment on item: Recruiting Soldiers Against Radical Islam

Submitted by Kathy O'Leary (United States), Apr 3, 2007 at 12:11

This is a very good article. I have taken a great interest in the subject of Islam and Radical Islam. I've read over a dozen books so far by Daniel Pipes, Robert Spencer, Brigitte Gabriel, Bat Ye'or, Oriana, Walid Shoebat, Hirsan Ali and Mark Steyn. I'm still looking for more books and I have what my friends call "My Library". I have videos such as "Obsesssion" and "Islam: What the West Needs to Know". I've been lending my books out to people in my parish as well. I hope that some of these folks will get hooked on the subject the way I did, and pursue more knowledge, and tell more people. I wish we would show films and teach the kids about the Islamic threat in the High Schools.

I hope that anyone who needs a reading list will consider the authors I mentioned above. Make sure you are reading the truth, and not some apologetic sugar-coated material that misrepresents the danger we are in.
