The comments above indicates how the said commentor ...wants us to believe that Muslims never have any achievements of their own and the scientific achievements during the golden age of Islam whose fully-explained and well-detailed scientific textbooks in Arabic were tanslated into Latin(ie both spanish and italian) and studied by Europe during the end of the 13th century onwards that resulted into the so called rennaisance are all the works of the dhimi slaves and not by muslims themselves!!!!

Our question is why this so called dhimmi slaves have no any treatise or books of their own before the emergence of Islam? Why the Muslims have not known of their scientific achievements but instead directly studied the works of the Pagan scientist of old? Nothing in history that Muslims are studying the detailed scientific works of european christians!!! The reasons is that no such works ever existed during the dark ages of europe because of the knowledge-hater policy of the pauline church!

In Europe, nothing remains of the scientific treatises/works of the ancient pagan world as the christian church ordered them to be burned as the works of devils because the church that time belived that anything achieve by pagans even if it is a scientific work is evil! In short europe just learned in Islam the value of searching and developing of knowledge!!!

But unlike in europe or in the west, in the east the dictum of the church to burn all the pagan writings are not so well-implemnted the result of which there still copies of the said works that remains. The christians in the east did not burn them all yet they never studied or develped those pagan treatises perhaps in due fear that the church will burned them also as heretics or evil!!!!

But when Islam spread and have seen the works of the ancient world, the Muslims in their Islamic motto "to search knowledge from cradle to grave and even in places as far as china" eagerly wanted to study those pagan works and find which which is beneficial!!! In short the modern christians now should be very grateful of Islam in saving the ancient knowledge from the vergedof total lost or disappearance!!!

Upon the awareness of Muslims of the said ancient works that stil available yet lay idle or undeveloped, it is here where the greek dhimmis were requested by Muslims to help them translating the works of the pagan greek philosiphers and scientists. So the role of the dhimmis are just translators not the one who studied and developed into reality those scientific knowledge!

Of course, because Islam is a just religion....the Muslims never monopolized those knowledge the way western colonizers did later on but encourage also the christians and Jews to participate!!!! It is in the golden age of Islam where the spririt of tolerance and sharing have been well implemented. This noble spirit of tolerance have never existed in backward europe during the dark ages and this sharing of knoedge have never occured or practiced during the colonialization era the result of which the muslims in the post-christian colonization era had been transformed almost as ignorants and lack of education.

The sufferings of Muslims happened after they had been colonized by the west! And that is the sad fact of history!!!!
