in response to reader comment: Yes I left Islam and write about it, and also get death threats

If Western culture and Western freedom is to survive, we must think of Islam as a "cult" rather than a religion. If we define religion as "teachings and/or a philosophy that exsist for the benefit of its members" and we define a cult as "teachings and/or a philosophy that exist to benefit its leaders;" then there is no question that Islam is a gigantic cult. Furthermore, my research leads me to believe that as a cult, Islam systematically ordains layers of cultic domination that deny free will and discourage all human love and attachment. In this way, Allah and Muhammed (Koran often says WE) become all consuming.

Knowledge is the key to understanding; and as a woman, one of the best quotes I have found as to the lack of freedom in Islam is by Dr. Sauad M. Al-Sabah. He said, "They differed with me over what times we are living in. It is not a democracy whan a man can talk about politics without anyone threatening him. Democracy is when a woman can talk of her lover without anyone killing her."
