To cling to the idea that all religions carry the same message of peace and tolerance is suicidal

Reader comment on item: Recruiting Soldiers Against Radical Islam

Dr Pipes:

April 3, 2007: Chicago Synagogue spray painted with "Free Palestine" in English and Arabic

Says a resident living in the neighbourhood: "All 4 religions living here get along fine. We don't need this".

Well, no one needs this but this poison is active and living in the USA.

I have a theory: Islam is peaceful until the mass of its followers reaches a significant mass and many of its followers change into dangerous and volatile beings.

Followers of Islam began trickling into the West in the 1970s in larger and larger numbers, especially in the late 80's from Turkey, Morocco, other ME countries and Pakistan.

I am very concerned, living in Canada, where Canadians are apathetic regarding this potential threat on our children. Schools here have very little security that one sees in airports.

Sadly, it will take a very tragic ( and unavoidable) slaughter of kids to change the mind set over here.

I have decided to home school my child as long as I can to prevent her from being part of the slaughtered as by the Saudi flag waving Islamic terrorists we saw in Beslan, Russia.

172 children were slaughtered.

Sadly, only then will the public become motivated to demand that our government root this poison out of our country and become civilian soldiers against Islam.
