Refreshing Change: Excellent Journalism on IslamReader comment on item: PBS, Recruiting for Islam Submitted by Z.Kara (United States), Dec 21, 2002 at 01:51 I was totally impressed with KQED/PBS programs on Islam aired this week. Muhammad, Legacy of a Prophet, aired on December 18th, 2002 followed by Muslims in Appalachia, additional programs aired on December 19, 2002 were all excellent. The film Muhammad, Legacy of a Prophet in particular was beautifully done and very, very educational. The subject matter, content, and visual effects were just excellent. I felt that it upheld the standards of excellence and accuracy in journalism that KQED/PBS is so committed to and I thank them for the opportunity to see this and other programs on Islam as well as those not on Islam. Please keep up the great work! Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
