Opposite Effect--Not to Worry.Reader comment on item: PBS, Recruiting for Islam Submitted by Fred Glass (United States), Dec 18, 2002 at 23:12 Saw only the first half hour of the PBS broadcast on Mohammed. Too boring to watch. The facial expessions & body language of the typical egghead prognosticators were too obviously forced & phony to generate any wide interest so not to worry that there will be any Islamic converts.Besides which if Muslims can be persuaded that their religion is really one of peace so much the better. This might diminish the scriptural license toward violence that a more honest reading of the Koran promotes.
