Reader comment on item: PBS, Recruiting for Islam

Submitted by David (United States), Dec 17, 2002 at 16:19

Instead of fulminating about the Propaganda Broadcasting System, why not find some well healed backers for an accurate presentation of Mohammed's bloody rise to power, and the subsequent spread of Islam at sword point? The program could explore the spiritual and political implications of the many intolerant and violence condoning passages found in the Koran and Hadith, e.g., 9-11 and the genocide in Sudan. Maybe it could show on Fox (CBS sure aint gonna' show it!).
