Conversion to Islam

Reader comment on item: PBS, Recruiting for Islam

Submitted by A.A. (United States), Dec 18, 2002 at 13:09

Dr. Pipes is very right that T.V. is the best way to convert lots of Americans to Islam. Presenting a sugar coated and sanitized version of Islam has been most effective in islamic missionary work in prisons and very poor neighborhoods where people are dissatisfied and resentful. They are also the ones spending most of their free time in front of the T.V.
Will any muslim country allow glorification of another religion on their T.V.? Are americans too naive and gullible or is it money talking? Why do I smell petro dollars in glorification of Islam in recent books by apologist infidel writers (who themselves never converted to Islam), introduction of islamic workshops in some California public schools, reading requirement of a sanitized version of Quran in a North Carolina State University, and now tributes to Islamic prophet on PBS on prime time?
