Daniel Pipes is right on target. The history of Islam shows quite a different picture from that being presented.
The PBS presentation is obviously a biased self-serving portrate of Muhammad. It expands that theme into the religion itself. This is propaganda, not an objective view of Islam.
A documentary, which this is alleged to be, would give pro's and con's. It would offer a view and a view opposing or questioning the issue. Obviously this is not the case here. This is a one-sided, pro-Islamic selling job and that's called propaganda.
I agree that it should not be paid for in any way by taxpayer funds and a law suit to recoup these is in order.
If it is to be shown, it should be shown with a disclaimer.
