Brainwashing liesReader comment on item: PBS, Recruiting for Islam Submitted by Maharishi Guru (United States), Mar 22, 2003 at 15:23 I did not watch the movie on Mohammed, but know all about him from reading the Koran. It is a book supposedly revealed by Gabriel, but if it was truly the heavenly angel Gabriel who revealed it, then he contradicted everything said in earlier revelations. Of course, the Koran gives a very naive but convenient explanation by claiming that the Jews and the Christians changed the earlier revelations. It is truly amazing that naive muslims have accepted such a baseless argument. Secondly, the "prophet" gave absolutely no prophecy by which one may be able to assess the validity of the Koranic revelation because if a prophecy does not come to pass, it is a false revelation. The point is, that the Koran cannot be tested. One is totally at the mercy of Mohammed and his revelation. To the discerning mind, it is quite clear why the Koran contains no prophecy. Finally, the Koran is historically inaccurate. The crucifixion of Jesus is a historical fact (see Josephus); but the Koran categorically denies that the crucifixion ever occurred. One final point on the "peaceloving" religion called Islam. My grandfather was murdered by "muslim friends" of his after he gave up Islam. He (and she) who has an ear, let him (and her) hear.
