Sugar Coated and Sanitized BiographyReader comment on item: PBS, Recruiting for Islam Submitted by J.K. (United States), Dec 19, 2002 at 16:19 The documentary was a good P.R. for muslims , but in truth , it was sugar coated and sanitized. Most of the moderators were muslims who are highly biased and would rather die than criticize the prophet. Karen Armstrong is a well known apologist of Islam. Why they did not also talk to well read scholars like Dr Pipes, Anwar Shaikh, Dr. Ibn Warraq or Dr. Ali Sina if they wanted a fair and honest study. For an alternate view, I strongly recommend "Islam, An Arab Imperialism" by scholar Anwar Shaikh in the library section of website"faithfreedom.org". Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
