In today's New York Times, there is an article that showcases this very program. The writer said that the program was sponsored by Muslim-American organizations and includes interviews of supposedly mellow, moderate Americans. I really believe that the purpose of the program is to convert non-Moslems to Islam, since it's more sentimentally biased than historical.
